DOES YOUR HOME HAVE CAVITY WALLS?
Improve Your Home’s Energy Efficiency
If your home was built after the 1930s, it likely has cavity walls. These walls have a hollow gap between two layers of brick designed to keep moisture out, but unfortunately, they can also let warm air escape, causing drafts, heat loss, and higher energy bills. By preventing heat loss, cavity insulation ensures that your home stays warmer for longer, reducing the need for constant heating and therefore lowering your energy bills.
Cavity wall insulation fills the gap to lock the heat inside, providing a more energy-efficient home. According to the Energy Saving Trust, this simple upgrade can save the average mid-terrace home up to £140 per year on energy bills.
NEIS are experienced Cavity Wall installers, with maby happy customers right across the North East.

CAVITY WALL EXTRACTION & REFILL
Is Your Old Insulation Doing More Harm Than Good?
Many homes built or insulated decades ago suffer from failing insulation. Over time, traditional glass wool or early foam materials can settle, disintegrate, or absorb moisture, leaving large voids in your walls. These gaps create 'cold spots' that lead to condensation, dampness, and significant heat loss.
At NEIS, we specialise in Cavity Wall Extraction. Our team uses specialised high-pressure equipment to safely remove old, degraded materials. Once your cavity is clear and breathable, we install modern, high-performance bonded silver beads. These are thermally superior to old wool or foam, providing a seamless thermal barrier that won't drop or deteriorate over time.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE LOFT INSULATION
Insulate Your Loft and Feel the Difference
With heating costs on the rise, the answer to reducing your bills could be right above your head. It’s said that around 25% of your home’s heat is lost through the roof (Energy Saving Trust), meaning correctly fitted loft room insulation could be the best way to save money. NEIS works with homeowners and landlords across the UK to make this upgrade achievable, drawing on the government’s latest loft insulation grants to fund 100% of the installation.
Our loft insulation contractors will provide all required materials for the installation, including our high-quality mineral wool rolls. These will be laid between the beams in your loft, typically at a depth of 300mm. If you use the space for storage, this approach means boards can still be laid on top of the joists, as long as care is taken to leave a gap above the insulation to prevent condensation. Most loft insulation jobs can be completed in one day, with all waste disposed of responsibly for added peace of mind.

Cavity Wall Insulation: The Process
At NEIS, we take the stress out of insulation. The process is straightforward. We drill small, 22mm holes in the external walls at regular intervals, then use advanced equipment to inject insulation into the cavity. Once the insulation is in place, the holes are sealed, leaving your home energy-efficient and cosy. Not only will this help keep the heat in, but cavity wall insulation also improves soundproofing, making your home quieter and more comfortable.
Hiring professional cavity wall insulation contractors ensures that the installation is carried out correctly and efficiently. Our expert team at NEIS will handle all the details, from assessing your eligibility for funding to carrying out the cavity wall filling process safely and effectively, leaving you with a warmer, more comfortable home.
Our end-to-end service is designed for minimal disruption. If an extraction is required, we start by removing the old material through small, strategically placed holes. Once the cavity is cleared, we use advanced equipment to inject our premium insulation. Finally, we meticulously seal all holes with mortar that matches your existing brickwork, leaving your home energy-efficient, quiet, and cosier than ever.

“Absolutely amazing team from start to finish, very friendly, polite, informative, and did a great job, I couldn't be happier. A special thank you to Henry who went above and beyond with helping me with my windows. Thank you all.”
